Meet the Bellevue Hilltop Dental Team
I am originally from Olympia, Washington and have been in Washington my entire life as I received both my Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington.
To our existing patients – I am very excited to be part of the short list of exceptional dentists that have practiced at Bellevue Hilltop Dental before me. I am grateful to Dr. Hansen and the rest of the staff for the trust and confidence they have in me to continue caring for the patients here. For the past 35 years, Dr. Hansen has built Bellevue Hilltop Dental based on his genuine desire to help his patients, his honesty, and his conservative dental practices and this is the type of dental practice that I will continue to run.

We value taking time with our patients to thoroughly educate them on their dental health and dental needs. Our staff are friendly and patient and will take the necessary steps to make you feel comfortable in our practice.
Outside of dentistry, I am a big outdoor enthusiast, including mountaineering, rock climbing, backpacking, biking, and kayaking. My perhaps slightly ambitious goal is to climb the top 100 tallest peaks in Washington State. Aside from the outdoors, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Katherine, who is an elementary teacher in the Seattle School District.
Dr. Lintakoon is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He was the owner of a sought-out and successful private practice for more than 17 years in Austin, Texas before relocating to the Pacific Northwest.
Since moving, he has acted as a clinical instructor and dentist at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. He is an affiliate faculty member of the University of Washington’s School of Dentistry, educating dental students during their third and fourth years.
He chose dentistry as he enjoys helping people restore their smiles’ look and function. He truly treats patients as family and continues to do so through conservative, modern dentistry.
Dr. Lintakoon is fluent in multiple languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese, and the Teochew dialect of Chinese; he speaks Thai and Lao as well. He resides in Bellevue with his wife and two daughters.
I owe Dr. John Lintakoon a deep debt of gratitude. After getting unnecessarily ambitious and prohibitively expensive treatment plans from two other dentists, I met Dr. John Lintakoon of Bellevue Hilltop Dental. John carefully examined my many missing, endangered, and often painful teeth, and given my age and limited financial circumstances, conceived a more sensible plan that I could afford and that has continued to serve my dental needs very well.
